How to setup a proxy with Firefox

To set up a proxy with Firefox, follow these steps:

1. Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner.

2. Select Options from the drop-down menu.

3. In the left-hand menu, click on General and scroll all the way down to the Network Settings section.

4. Click on the Settings button.

5. In the Connection Settings dialog box, select the Manual proxy configuration radio button.

6. Enter the IP address and port number of the proxy server you want to use.

7. If the proxy server requires authentication, select the Use this proxy server for all protocols checkbox and enter the username and password.

8. Click on the OK button to save your settings.


 If you’re using a SOCKS5 proxy type the proxy server address in the SOCKS Host field and the port number in the Port field right next to it. DO NOT tick “Use this proxy server for all protocols”


That's it! You have successfully set up a proxy with Firefox. Now, all your Firefox traffic will be routed through the proxy you configured. You can also check the video below:
